30 Residents Forced to Look for a New Location After Decision to Close Nursing Home

There are 30 nursing home residents looking for a new place to live after a nursing home decided to close its doors. The nursing home is said to be closing due to a move towards privately owned homes, rather than government ownership. The residents' families are upset with the decision, because they are finding it difficult to find other homes with space for their loved ones.

Other options are less appealing, because they are further away and less known. Residents are disappointed in the idea of change as well. Some nursing residents have lived at the same home close in proximity to their families for upwards of 10 years. For more, read the story.
