66 Year Old Nursing Home Patient With Dementia Drowns in Lake

A woman’s body was found in a lake near the nursing home where she was a patient, suffering from dementia. She was said to have gone missing after allegedly taking a smoke break outside. The woman was known for wandering off and was missing for four days before her body was found.

A 911 caller saw her body floating in the river just a few hundred yards from where she went missing. Police came to retrieve her body and perform an autopsy. She was only 66 years old.  For more, read the story. ____________________________________________________________________________
