89-Year-Old Initially Deemed Responsible For Rape Because She Was Called A Flirt, Man Is In Jail Now

An 89-year-old woman was accused of being responsible for her own rape because she was characterized as a “flirt”. The victim was sent to a mental hospital for 6 days after accusing a man of rape. The evidence revealed a different side to the story.

When she was finally examined, the nurse said there was the “largest tear” she had ever witnessed. The nurse who blamed the victim initially was not seen as a credible source. Despite initial accusations towards the victim, the man was still convicted of rape, sentenced to jail and added to the sex offenders list.   For more, read the story.
