Nursing home residents are in shock after a Christmas Eve blaze claimed the life of a female resident at the facility. Police say officers received a report of a fire at a local nursing home on Saturday evening. Multiple police and fire departments all responded to the fire.

When they arrived on the scene, everyone inside the facility had been evacuated to a nearby church. Crews then began to tackle the fire. They were able to keep the fire contained to one room, where unfortunately, they found the body of a 93-year-old woman. For more, read the story.
