Wife Objects To Husband's Transfer Orders To Further Nursing Home Location
A woman is objecting to her husband’s dismissal from a nursing home with concerns it will be difficult to see her husband. The nursing home is planning to transfer her husband who suffers from Alzheimer’s to a facility that would require a passport and a ferry to visit him. She does not agree that the purpose of transfer is valid.
The reason the nursing home gives for moving him is that his behavior is of concern, due to potential violence. However, the wife of the resident says it is because she documents his treatment, taking pictures and notes to bring concerns to the home about his care. For more, read the story.
