Assisted Living Facility Sued After Two Residents Were Routinely Beaten

An assisted living facility is being sued based on allegations that two elderly male residents were beat at the facility. According to the attorney for the two men, an 89 year old World War Two veteran and a 92 year old resident were violently beaten on several occasions.

The abuse was discovered when a medication care manager went into one of the residents room and saw him crying. When asked what was wrong, the man said "he hit me."  From there, the investigation grew. However, because both men suffer from various stages of Alzheimer's or dementia, no suspect has been identified. Two employees were fired. For more, read the story.
