Body of Missing Assisted Living Facility Resident Found in Park

A woman whose body was found floating in a river along a park has been identified as a 66-year-old assisted-living facility resident less than a mile from the park, police said Monday. Police believe that the death was accidental and may have been related to a medical condition.

The facility is not a restrictive facility and unlike a nursing home or hospital residents can come and go as they please, police said. The discovery of the body was made by a 9-year-old girl whose father reported the body to the police. The woman had been last seen Sunday at 11:00 a.m. For more, read the story.
