Caretaker Arrested as Primary Suspect in Elderly Woman's Murder Investigation

Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of a 70-year-old woman. The suspect arrested is the live-in caretaker for the 70-year-old woman who was found dead in her home Wednesday afternoon.The suspect was found at a trailer park, the victims vehicle with her at the time.

The elderly woman's body was discovered at 4:45 p.m. lying on the floor of her home by a neighbor who saw her through a window. Officers responded and confirmed the woman was dead. Police did not say whether the woman had any obvious signs of trauma to her body. A coroner's deputy said an autopsy is scheduled for later today.
