Certified Nurse's Assistant Arrested for Sexually Assaulting 93-Year-Old Woman

A 22-year-old male certified nurse's assistant at a nursing home has been charged with sexually assaulting a 93-year-old female resident, according to police. The victim reported the crime to police late last month, and the suspect was arrested Monday, police said.

The woman says that nursing home employee assaulted her during the early morning hours of September 25 when he was supposed to providing care for her at the facility.  The victim was admitted to the hospital for an examination after the assault. There, she met with police.

The nursing home employee has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault, according to police. If convicted, the he faces a  a prison sentence of six to 30 years. For more, read the story.
