CNA To Serve Jail Time After Using A Patient's Debit Card To Make Purchases

A certified nursing aide is going to prison for theft. The aide worked at a nursing home and stole a debit card from a patient. She then purchased items in two counties totaling more than $2,000.

The aide was convicted of one count of exploiting a vulnerable person.The aide will not only face prison time, but will have to pay restitution for the money stolen, plus a $900 in fees to the victim and to the government. For more, read the story.
