Coroner Rules Death of Elderly Nursing Home Patient was Homicide

In one state, police and the district attorney are investigating the death of an elderly nursing home patient after the death was ruled a homicide. The county coroner announced this week that the death would be ruled a homicide.

The 85-year-old resident was pushed by another resident at the facility on April 20th. The resident was sent to hospital where she passed away the day after the incident. The coroner has determined the cause of death was a subdural hematoma. For more, read the story.
