Daughter of Nursing Home Resident Speaks Out About Neglect at Facility

The daughter of a 76-year-old nursing home resident, who is paralyzed on the left side of his body, is speaking out about the neglect she has witnessed at the facility.  The woman said she is concerned with the attitudes of the employees who she witnessed ignoring her father and the other residents.

The man's told his daughter that recently he wanted assistance to rinse his mouth but the nursing staff told him to do it himself. They did not provide him with assistance or the use of a cup in order to rinse his mouth. The man's daughter said everyone who has a family member or friend at the facility should visit them often.
