Eighth Grade Class Brings Christmas Cheer to Nursing Home Residents

An eighth grade class is writing Christmas cards for nursing home residents as part of a Caring Kids Christmas Cards Project. The students are thoughtful of the seniors to whom they are writing. "God is watching over you," one student wrote to a woman, living in a facility away from home and family.

The students are able to think of others at Christmas time. "It teaches the children to be more aware of other people's needs," their teacher said, "and the importance of showing them kindness." For more, read the story.
