Elderly Man Dies After Falling from Wheelchair at Nursing Home

A stroke victim died after losing control of his wheelchair outside the nursing home where he lived. The 79-year-old, was being cared for at the nursing home after suffering a stroke which left him partially paralyzed.

According to the family, they had given permission for the man to have access to the gardens of the property.It is believed that the man had fallen from his wheelchair in June after he was travelling along a service road. He was taken to the hospital with serious head injuries and died two weeks later. The coroner has determined that it was an accidental death. For more, read the story.
