Families Sue Nursing Home For Wrongful Death and Negligence

A nursing home ordered to close earlier this year is now facing multiple lawsuits from the families of former patients. The facility closed its doors after losing its Medicare and Medicaid funding due to violations with the
State Department of Health.

The family of one resident filed a wrongful death lawsuit alleging that her death was caused by neglect and poor hygiene. Another resident's family filed a lawsuit in January which asserts claims of medical negligence resulting in diminished physical and mental capabilities. For more, read the story.
