Former Nursing Home Employees Plead Guilty to Abusing Patients

Three former CNAs have pleaded guilty to abusing nursing home patients by spraying water on them just for fun. Another CNA plead guilty for failure to report the incident. They face charges of neglect, abuse, and exploitation and could face up to two years in prison.

Officials at the nursing home discovered that the residents had been sprayed with water but according to an investigation, allegations also include the CNAs taking picture of the residents' breasts and buttocks.

The abuse will be costly to the nursing home as new admissions were suspended and a $3,000 civil penalty was assessed by the Department of Health. For more, read the story.
