Four Suspended from Nursing Home After Abuse of Elderly Resident was Caught on Camera

State investigators have released their findings regarding allegations of abuse at a nursing home. The daughter of an elderly nursing home resident caught the alleged abuse on a hidden camera placed in the woman's room.

As a result of the investigation, four nursing home employees were suspended indefinitely, including the center's administrator. According to the report, one nurse's aide, seen on video pulling the resident's hair, claimed that she appeared to yank the woman's hair, but really "the resident's head slipped out of her hand and she caught her by the hair."

The nursing home was cited for neglect and failing to provide an atmosphere free from abuse. For more, read the story.
