Fourth-Grade Boy Keeps Nursing Home Residents' Feet Warm and Dry

Santa came early for 110 seniors at one nursing home, thanks to one generous boy.

The nine-year-old boy brought socks, slippers and thick anklets for everyone at the nursing home.

The fourth grader came up with this idea after his great grandmother passed away this past July.

He noticed the hard floors when he went to visit her. He wanted everyone to have warm feet when they walk around and to make sure everyone had something to open for Christmas.

So the boy kicked off the "sock drive" and received a tremendous response. He and his mother took the money donated and bought boxes of pairs from a local store. For more, read the story.
