Group Home Employee Arrested After YouTube Video Surfaced Showing Patient Abuse

A 57-year-old group home employee has been arrested after video surfaced of her abusing a 53-year-old mentally disabled man in her care at the facility. According to police, the woman was arrested after her employer discovered the video on YouTube and brought it to the police.

Police have confirmed that the video reveals the employee striking the male resident in the head, face, and neck. The employee is also seen spitting in the man's face and encouraging another resident to join in the abuse. 

Police have charged the woman with multiple counts of assault and with endangering the female resident in the video. Police are also working to identify others who can be heard in the video laughing. The woman has been released on $100,000 bond. For more, read the story.
