Hidden Camera Captures Neglect and Abuse in Long Term Care Facility

The family of a patient in a long term care facility is accusing the facility of negligence caught on camera. The man moved into the long term care facility last year because he was suffering from dementia and Parkinson's disease severe enough that his wife could no longer care for him at home.

Within three months the man suffered  three falls, and was frequently found with bumps and bruises on his body. As time passed the man's wife decided to install a camera in the man's room. The tape revealed that her husband was able to get out of bed several times at night without no personal safety alarm sounding. The footage also revealed instances of verbal abuse by the staff at the facility.  For more, read the story.
