Hidden Camera Detects Nursing Home Patient Neglect by 17 Staff Members

The concept of nanny cams is a focus of conversation again as 17 employees at a nursing home were seen showing neglect to a non-ambulatory, bed-ridden patient. The patient was not receiving medication, incontinent care or liquids as he should. The employees not only neglected the patient, but falsified documents regarding their care of the patient. 

The nursing home care staff was caught on camera, which is raising the question again as to why some states still will not allow nanny cameras in their facilities. For more, read the story
