Man Files Lawsuit Against Nursing Home For Mistreatment Due To Short Staffing And Supplies

A lawsuit has been brought on a nursing home for allegations of short staffing and supplies. The man filing the suit says that the shortage of staff and supplies has led to the mistreatment and neglect of numerous residents, including bedsores, falls, weight loss, dehydration, and more. The lawsuit addresses one man in particular.

Per the lawsuit, this particular resident "suffered catastrophic injuries, extreme pain, suffering, and mental anguish. The scope and severity of the recurrent wrongs inflicted upon (the resident) while under the care of the facility accelerated the deterioration of his health and physical condition beyond that caused by the normal aging process and resulted in physical and emotional trauma.” For more, read the story.
