Medical Technician Arrested For Raping Residents of Assisted Living Facility

Police are investigating claims by several residents at an assisted-living facility who say they were raped by a medical technician at the facility.  According to an arrest warrant, the suspect has been charged with rape, sexual offense and sexual battery in connection with an assault on a resident.

According to the police documents, an employee called the sheriff's office after she witnessed the medical technician standing at the foot of a resident's bed with his hand near his genitals. When she returned to the room, she observed what appeared to be semen on the floor where the man had been.

After being interviewed by police, additional residents came forward regarding their experiences with the employee. Officials say they are still looking into whether there may be additional victims. The suspect is being held in $750,000 bond.  He has been arrested in the past for felony larceny. For more, read the story.
