Nurse Allegedly Attacks Elderly Resident

An investigation is ongoing into allegations of a nurse beating an elderly resident while in the nursing home. According to family members of the resident, the nurse attacked her after she begged the nurse to give her pain medication.

It was reported that the resident accessed and pushed the nurse call button for help but no one came and then she began crying. The nurse entered the resident’s room and began striking the resident which resulted in black eyes and bloody nose.

The family says that the victim was given care by another nurse and representatives have decided not to comment on the allegations. An investigation is underway and at this time, no charges have been filed. For more, read the story.
