Nursing Assistant Arrested for Allegedly Raping Nursing Home Resident

U.S. Marshals have arrested a nursing home worker accused of sexually assaulting a patient at the facility where he worked. The man, 49, has been charged with rape in connection with the alleged incident.

Police said the man was working at the facility as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in May when he raped a middle-aged woman who lived at the facility. The woman suffers from developmental disabilities. 

According to police, the man was suspended from the nursing home after the sexual assault happened and the victim was transferred to a group home. Friday morning police were able to arrest the man at his place of residence. For more, read the story.
