Nursing Home Abuse Investigation Reveals Numerous Incidents

Nursing home neglect is a global issue that reaches beyond the borders of the United States. A nursing home investigation revealed that residents at a nursing home should have been safeguarded against abuse after officials were alerted to various incidents involving patients and neglect or abuse. Investigations did not take place soon enough.

One incident involved a patient lying in a urine soaked bed. Another incident involved a patient being drug by the hair. Still another patient went to the hospital with a fracture lacking explanation of the cause of it. Officials are continuing their investigation. For more, read the story.
