Nursing Home Accountability Should Be Streamlined To Be Effective

Nursing home care responsibility has come into question as individuals in one state have written editorials to a paper. The question of who holds nursing home facilities and caregivers responsible for quality care has numerous answers. The responsibilities for various aspects of care are divided among different departments and government agencies.

The confusion and ambiguity has led to a desire for legislative government to streamline and clarify for the public and nursing home caregivers where accountability will be found. The concern is when too many people are responsible, no one is clearly held responsible. For more, read the story.
