Nursing Home Administrators Charged With Records Tampering To Cover Abuse

Two nursing home administrators have been charged with records tampering after changing government documents and failing to report information about abuse to officials.  The two administrators instructed facility employees to provide false information regarding an investigation by the state.  The investigation was in pursuit of abuse allegations at the nursing home.

The administrators were charged, jailed and released of their own recognizance. The investigation is ongoing by the state bureau of investigation through the Medicaid fraud unit.  For more, read the story.
