Nursing Home Aid Pleads Guilty to Abuse, Gets 90 Days Jail & 5 Years Probation

A woman was sentenced to 90 days of jail and 5 years of probation after pleading guilty to the mistreatment of a resident under her care. She plead guilty to injuring the resident after pulling her hair and pinching her leg. She allowed the judge to determine her punishment.

The abuse was identified after family members installed a camera smaller than a child’s crayon. The family members had been suspicious of their mother’s behavior upon visiting her and wanted to know what was happening in the family’s absence. For more, read the story.
