Nursing Home Apologizes For Longterm Poor Quality Care To Patients

A nursing home overseas is now offering apologies for not responding faster to the patient abuse and neglect issues that arose numerous times. The administrator and a nurse were sentenced for participating and/or overlooking the issues. The current administrator is trying to turn the reputation around after so much negative publicity.

The departments responsible for holding the individuals accountable have said that the issue with not cracking down on the nursing home was related to seeing incidents individually. The incidents should have been looked at together to realize there was a more systemic issue, rather than an isolated incident. For more, read the story.
