Nursing Home Attendant Sleeps On The Job Leaving No One to Care For Residents

An attendant has been fired and is pending charges for endangerment after sleeping on the job. The attendant was nowhere to be found, causing fear in a resident who awoke at 1am to find no one around to aid him. His fear led him to pull the fire alarm.

The building was evacuated. When police and fire fighters entered the building and searched for any trace of an employee, they found the attendant on duty asleep on the couch with a bottle of sleeping pills in her purse. For more, read the story.
