Nursing Home Brings Residents Together With Their Families for Easter

One nursing home held an Easter gathering for residents and their families on Friday. The festivities included an Easter egg hunt in the facility's courtyard in which dozens of children took part. The residents had a lot of fun watching their grandkids and showing them off.

The facility has been holding the Easter events for the resident's families for the past several years. Residents even helped get ready for the event by filling the plastic eggs for the egg hunt with candy. The activities director for the nursing home said it is a great way to get the residents and their families together. One resident had a visit from his one year old great grandchild.
