Nursing Home Celebrates Resident's 100th Birthday

One nursing home threw a party in honor of a resident who reached centenarian status this week. The woman turned 100 years-old on Wednesday. Her birthday just happened to occur on the day of one of the nursing home's summer cookouts. At the cookout, she was able to eat cake and listen to music as she shared the special moment with her nephew.

The facility Activities Department staff said, "It's an honor to have such history at Concord Nursing and Rehabilitation Center." For more, read the story
