Nursing Home Employee Charged with Stealing 250 Prescription Pain Pills from Facility

A nursing home employee was arrested last week after being accused of stealing pain medications from residents. According to court records, the woman has been charged with a misdemeanor count of prohibited acts with prescription drugs. Police have acknowledged the the woman is being charged with taking about 250 pills. The 39-year-old former nursing home employee is being held on $5,000 bail. For more, read the story.
