Nursing Home Employees Sue Facility After Being Fired Allegedly for Reporting Abuse

Two former employees of a nursing home are suing the owners of the facility, claiming they were fired for reporting abuse. The plaintiffs claim that after they reported physical and verbal abuse against patients by employees at the facility, they were fired.

The attorney for the fired employees claims there is a history of the facility hiring workers who have records of abuse. Nursing home employees in many states are mandated by law to report any suspected abuse.  For more, read the story.
