Nursing Home Fee Increases Bring $26 Million From Taxpayers

Nursing homes are projected to receive an additional $26 million in funding next year. The funds will come from tax payer money due to increased fees. The rates were noted to cover obscure fees. 

The nursing home fee increase comes from a bill that was passed by state lawmakers. However, none of the lawmakers remember how it got into the state budget. For more, read the story.
