Nursing Home Fined For Fall Resulting In Death

A nursing home has been fined $2,000 for negligence with a fall that resulted in a broken neck and ultimately death. The patient slid out of bed and was not taken to the hospital for x-rays until days later. The patient’s neck and face were bruised.

A spokesperson admits that nurses should have gotten help for the patient sooner. However, he also stated that it was not a serious problem.  For more, read the story.
