Nursing Home Loses Power For Five Days, Angers Loved Ones

A nursing home went without power for five days, infuriating loved ones of the residents living there. The utility company and nursing home are in dispute over who dropped the ball in identifying the home as a nursing home. The utility company says they didn’t know and the nursing home says they informed the utility company.

Meanwhile, the residents suffered the cold with only backup generators running. There was no heat, so residents were only kept warm with extra blankets, hats and coats. For more, read the story.
