Nursing Home Man Found Safe After Wandering For Two Hours

A man who walked off from his nursing home yesterday evening was found safe about two hours later, according to police. The 78-year-old man wandered away from the nursing home facility where he was living around 6 p.m..

A call for volunteers and the County's Bloodhound Tracking Team was put out to search the area for the man. He was found in good condition about three-quarters of a mile from the home, walking along the side of the road. The department participates in Project Lifesaver, which provides patients with bracelets containing tracking devices, but police say the man was not wearing one. For more, read the story.
