Nursing Home Patients Test Positive For Enterovirus

Nursing home patients have tested positive for the enterovirus. Thirty patients were showing symptoms and nine of the patients tested positive. Five of those patients were sent to the hospital with their symptoms.

Of the five that went to the hospital one of them coded and another had to be put on a ventilator. According to a doctor interviewed about the virus, "It can start out as a cold, cough, running nose, fever, progress to more severe respiratory problems." For more, read the story.
