Nursing Home Ranking Website Will Offer Survey Satisfaction Results To The Public For Aiding Choices

One state is planning to provide a new web-based rating system for nursing homes all over the state. With 18,000 residents living in nursing homes and decisions on where to place a loved one occurring daily, the website will aid in offering people insight into which home will be the best choice as far as safety, care and accommodations for their family members.

State officials backing the project under a 2 year contract had this to say about it, “our primary objective is to increase consumer awareness and education and give them as much power in the decision-making process as possible so they can choose a nursing facility for themselves or a loved one,” For more, read the story.
