Nursing Home Robbed By Gunman Seeking Medications

Police are looking for three armed men who forced their way into a nursing home early Thursday morning, demanding narcotic pain medication. The men allegedly approached an employee who was outside the facility on her break around 4:00 a.m. Two of the men forced the employee to give them pills from the medication closet at gunpoint, while the third suspect stood watch.

The men placed various narcotics in bags until they were interrupted by another employee and a patient. The suspects fled with an employee's purse but dropped the medication that they had collected. Police efforts to locate the suspect have not yet been successful. For more, read the story.
