Nursing Home Selections For Loved Ones Require Research

Loved ones searching for the right nursing home to care for their loved one are encouraged to investigate specific aspects of the home before making a selection. Loved ones and the even the patient should ask a hospital for recommendations based on the needs for skilled nurse care.

Loved ones should also talk to the home, talk to others who have loved ones at the home, and be sure to visit the home. A second visit should be made impromptu without scheduling to ensure a view of the home on a regular day without a scheduled tour. For more, read the story.
