Nursing Home Sued After Elderly Man Died of Head Injury As Result of Falls at the Facility

The family of a former nursing home resident has sued the facility after several falls at the facility caused the man's death. According to the recently filed complaint, the resident suffered a minimum of four falls at the facility in roughly a two-week window. The resident died in September of last year after falls in late July and Early August.

The family asserts that the resident died from a subdural hematoma (or bleeding on the brain) caused by the many falls. The man was living at the facility because he required rehabilitative therapy and assistance with activities of daily living. For more, read the story.
