Nursing Home to Settle Wrongful Death Lawsuit After Drowning Incident at Facility

The daughter of a woman who drowned in a bath tub at a nursing home may receive substantial damages if a court approves a settlement agreement between the parties. According to court records, the daughter filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the facility after her mother committed suicide in 2010, by drowning herself in the center’s tub room.
