Nursing Home Worker Steals $22,000 In Jewelry From Patients

A nursing home employee has been charged on five counts of theft for stealing jewelry from patients. The value of the stolen jewelry amounts to $22,000. The caregiver slipped the jewelry off the patients while they were sleeping. She was at the facility as a medical technician to help patients with daily activities.

The nursing home worker was caught in the act after stealing several pieces of jewelry when a patient woke up to the employee pulling a diamond ring off her finger.  Police located the jewelry after it was pawned for money.  For more, read the story.
