Nursing Homes Receiving More Than 10 Citations Noted By State Advocates For Better Care

One particular state has a lower than national average of citations noted during nursing home inspections. The state advocates for better care provide a list of the nursing homes that have 10 or more citations to the public. This allows potential residents and their families to be aware of nursing homes with cause for concern.

The national average amount of citations found on a nursing home site visit is typically 6.5. One site received up to 59 citations in a single visit. For more, read the story.
