Patient Sues Facility for Bedsores

A medical center is being sued by a patient for leaving his growing bedsores undiagnosed and untreated. He was admitted to a different facility where he a bilateral knee replacement was to be performed. However, while a patient there he had a skin breakdown which led to the development of his ulcers, or bedsores.

The patient claims that he acquired the bedsores due to neglect by the staff of the facility. The bedsores worsened when left untreated. The ulcers also caused the patient to have physical pain. The patient has filed a lawsuit for compensation for damages and attorney’s fees. For more, read the story.
