Patient's Bed Sore Returns And Worsens Due To Negligent Nursing Home Care

A nursing home is patient received poor quality care in relation to bed sores. She had already had a bed sore and was at a high risk for incurring another one. The doctor put procedures in place, as did the DON.
However, the patient still developed a bed sore and her condition worsened.

The nurse ordered additional treatment, but the medication was ordered in correctly. The Nurse Practitioner claimed she had no idea there was a treatment issue.
