Police Investigation Leads to Arrest of Nursing Home Employee

After a Police investigation at John M. Reed Nursing Home in Washington County, Virginia, it was determined that an employee may have been physically and emotionally abusing one or more residents at the facility.

Amanda Tibble, 34, a certified nurses assistant, was arrested yesterday and charged with five counts of willful abuse, neglect or exploitation of an adult, according to Sheriff Ed Graybeal of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 10 that will focus on the allegations of abuse. For more, read the story.
